Maxis being generous due to Service Outage.

50% off your monthly subscription fee. I was hoping for the bill for call out and SMS charges to get rebate instead of the subscription fee. This is due to Maxis being down for 2-3 days in Sabah, which kinda like a blessing for me because I know some unwanted people will be calling my phone for some reason. Hell, I'm not even a businessman but I have business people looking for me. I only wish they call up and offer me a job with RM5K salary.

Well, it's better than nothing. Looks like I can't abuse massing SMS then. I was just going to wreck havoc and SMS my friends till 5am in the morning.

Competition for My Readers.

So, I was thinking. I think it's time to make a competition for my readers. Handful of them, but yeah.

I have no time to make a new template so I'm giving you guys to create a new layout for me. Yep, basically I need you to create a new layout for The Autumn Party.

The prize? RM50. Yeah, RM50 worth of something. Cash if we can meet. An additional RM10 for the banner. So basically this is a 2 in 1 thing. You can either win both or either 1. Which give chance for other guys who wants to design just banner. Nice or not?

Mind you, this is blogger template we're talking about. ^_^

There are some things I need to stress out though.

1) Layout will be quite similar to the current layout i'm using. Meaning there's tab links. Give room to my other stuff on my sidebars too. My blog contents will be great at 450 width out of 1024 width overall blog layout.

2) The banner should be 900x180. No explicit or erotic pictures. I'm not running a pr0n site/blog, mind you.

Now get your heads cracking. If you guys feel the prize is too small, blame the price hike.

Since I liked the band so much when I was at the Indie Band Festival last Saturday, I've decided to grab their single yesterday. Unfortunately, I was so tired that I was a nuisance on the road.

So, I've decided to grab it today. Mas joins too. It's only RM5 and you get to hear one of our local indie band.

Maxis Went Dead Yesterday.

I experience first hand when Maxis just died. I was out on Sunday for karaoke with friends. I went back home late around 1++ am when it happened. The line just disappears. I thought it was just a few minutes problem, but no. It was still down when I watched the Euro Cup finals (Where Spain won because scored by Torres, LIVERPOOL!). I thought it was my phone went kaput, so I reboot my phone. Same problem.

No sign of upgrading and somewhat and I've yet to see an article in the newspaper about that (more likely I haven't open yet).


Maxis!! YOU HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO!

OH YES, MAXIS! YOU STILL NEED MORE EXPLAINING TO DO! Even though the signal is up, I can't even call my phone!! It's over 24 hours!!

Bila Aku Sudah Tiada - Indie Band Festival 2008

It's been awhile since my last update. Connection at home just went kaput for some reason. Anyways, this time I'm gonna talk about the Indie Band Festival that was held in Dewan Serbaguna Likas. I had a great time, despite the fact I had little sleep.

I waited for Mas to arrive, walked around and met Fara and Mars doing stuff for GoShop.

The bands that played that day was Hujan, Bintang Batu, Sasuka, Seven Missing Portraits, Goyang72 and 4 Colour Circles.

The opening performance by Hujan really made the crowd going. After that, all went dead due to "who-will-perform" and tweaks. To be honest, I did get few seconds of dozing off due to waiting.

All was forgiven when Goyang72 came out and rocked the crowd with their sounds. Bintang Batu came out next with a powerful sound. 4 Colour Circles came up next, which was good but they need a proper singer. Seven Missing Portraits was next, I cant hear any words. Sorry guys. Sasuka rocked the stage with their songs, indeed a band to look at in the future.



Hujan back with more songs to play and it was pure chaos. I had a great time, not to mention the ticket was free!

Strike 2. Rumour causes massive jam.

Kudos to the person who did this. Thank you very much for making our life a living hell for 4-5 hours.

Of course some of you read about the things happen yesterday on other blogs. So I'm just joining the complaint bandwagon. Rumour or not, prank or not, this is serious. This is how we react because of fuel hike. The government should take note of this.

I'm sure you all bored reading the same things on other blogs so I'll just leave this as a short post for now.

Anyways, my net connection down at home. Uploading pictures will be a drag in the office, sigh.

Have yet to get a new job.

I've been hunting for months now for a new job and much more desperately due to the hike of fuel. I don't mind a lower paying job IF it is very close to home.

I'm a month over my 2 years "self-contract" working in the company. Time to move on into a new enviroment but yet to get any. Sigh. I know some people will think I'm quitting because of some issues. Well, no. It's not. So yeah.

Upgraded status, MCSE, CCNA, Graphic Design. And I have Administration experience. Anyone?
